After published messages with Epstein, Lajcak resigns from position as advisor to Slovak Prime Minister

Slovak diplomat Miroslav Lajcak, currently an advisor to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, is leaving his post.

Robert Fico has already announced that he will accept his resignation, reports say. Slovak media. This happened hours after Slovak media reported that Lajcak’s name had reappeared in documents related to American financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In the US, new documents related to Jeffrey Epstein were released on Friday, including communications with Miroslav Lajcak.

On Friday, the largest batch of court documents on Epstein was released, including three million pages, 180,000 photographs and 2,000 videos.

Epstein, a millionaire known for his celebrity relationships, died in prison in 2019 while awaiting federal sex trafficking charges; the New York medical examiner ruled his death a suicide.

According to the contents of several published messages, Epstein is suspected of offering women to Lajcak and he is trying to organize a meeting between Fico and far-right ideologue Steve Bannon. Lajcak denied the veracity of the reports. “I have not organized any meeting for the prime minister. Women have never been part of our communication. Absolutely never,” he said
