Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Iran is ready to reach a new nuclear deal, as long as it is based on the peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program and is accompanied by the lifting of international sanctions.
According to Araghchi, such an agreement would pave the way for economic cooperation in areas such as energy and other projects of mutual interest.
He stressed that Iran has never excluded the United States from its economic projects.
Referring to regional tensions and previous military experiences, the Iranian top diplomat stated that the country has learned important lessons from past conflicts and strengthened its defense capabilities.
“Our ballistic missiles are in position, our force remains intact and we are more prepared than ever,” Araghchi said.
He also sent a direct warning to the United States, stressing that any attack on Iran would be met with a swift, shocking, and very powerful counterattack.
“We have the ability to defend ourselves and we don’t need anyone else,” he concluded.
Otherwise, the US has sent several aircraft carriers to the Middle East, following the US president’s ultimatum to Iran
