The attack occurred at around 23:10, when Russian forces used multiple rocket launcher systems.
Two of the women, aged 86 and 44, were taken to hospital, the others received medical attention at the scene.
According to reports, nine more people were injured in further Russian attacks in Kherson.
Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with 101 drones, including about 70 Shaheed drones, of which Ukrainian air defenses shot down or disabled 69. During the attacks, 32 hits were recorded in 13 different locations, while drone debris also caused minor damage in other areas.
In the city of Odessa, Russian forces struck an industrial facility and damaged the windows of a religious building, according to regional governor Serhiy Lysak. He stressed that damage to the industrial facilities and surrounding housing was “minimal” and public services were working to recover them.
It has also been reported that Kiev’s power grid was also hit during the attacks, leaving the city without power for two hours.
