British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has reacted again to the latest developments related to the Epstein case, emphasizing that he has no intention of abandoning the mandate given to him by the citizens.
In his first appearance before the cameras, after a week that he described as busy and difficult, Starmer said that he remains committed to the commitment to bring change and support British citizens.
The statements come at a time when the British government is facing political turmoil, following reports on the Mandelson-Epstein relationship, which have sparked reactions and criticism in public opinion.
Asked by reporters whether he would continue to lead the Labour Party in the next election, Starmer replied that he intends to see out his term.
“Yes, I will. I have had five years to bring about change and I intend to continue with what I was elected to do. I will not abandon the mandate that has been given to me,” declared the British Prime Minister.
