US President Donald Trump announced today on the social network Truth Social that a “large armada” of American warships is on its way to Iran, with the message that Tehran must quickly sit down at the negotiating table and negotiate a “fair deal without nuclear weapons.”
Trump said that this fleet is ready to fulfill its mission – as in Venezuela – and that force will be used if necessary.
“A large army is sailing towards Iran. It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm and purpose. It is a larger fleet, led by the great aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, than the one sent to Venezuela. As with Venezuela, it is ready, willing and able to quickly accomplish its mission, with speed and violence, if necessary,” Trump announced.
*I hope Iran will “sit down to the table soon” and negotiate a fair deal – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS – a deal that is good for all parties. Time is running out, it is truly critical!
